Meet Dr. Hamid Arasteh
Education & Canadian Dental Qualifications
Dr. Hamid Arasteh earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Islamic Azad University Dental School in Iran. After moving to Canada, he successfully completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) examinations and became registered to practice dentistry in Ontario.

Dr. Hamid has practiced in established dental clinics in Toronto and Ottawa. His experience and vision for providing high-quality, personalized dental care eventually led him to establish Silver 7 Dental in Kanata.
His goal was to create a dental practice where individuals and families could receive comprehensive dental care in a welcoming, comfortable, and relaxed environment.

Meet Dr. Maziar Shahzad Dolatshahi
Education & Advanced Training
Dr. Maziar Shahzad Dolatshahi received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1994 and completed advanced postgraduate education in periodontics in 2000 at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran. He subsequently completed fellowship training in implant surgery, further developing his focus on surgical and implant dentistry.
Academic & Teaching Experience
Dr. Dolatshahi has an extensive academic background. He served as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Research Department at Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in Ahvaz, Iran. He has also lectured and presented at national and international dental congresses and symposiums, including events in Iran, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Romania, and Switzerland.
In addition to lecturing, he has served as an instructor in hands-on dental training courses in several countries and has been involved in professional dental education through DentalXP and MNEC.
Canadian Dental Qualifications
After immigrating to Canada with his family, Dr. Dolatshahi successfully completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada examinations and became registered to practice dentistry in Ontario in 2017.

Dr. Dolatshahi's clinical practice has a strong focus on implant dentistry and periodontal care. With extensive experience in implant treatment, he brings advanced surgical knowledge and a careful, treatment-focused approach to patients requiring dental implants and related procedures.

According to his current Silver 7 Dental biography, Dr. Dolatshahi has performed more than 15,000 dental implant placements. His combination of clinical experience, academic teaching, research, and continuing professional education supports a comprehensive approach to implant care.

Dr. Dolatshahi has also contributed to research and innovation in periodontics, including the development of decision-support systems designed to assist with periodontal assessment, prognosis, and treatment planning.

Meet Dr. Zohouri
Experienced, Compassionate & Community-Minded Dentist
With more than 30 years of experience in general dentistry, Dr. Zohouri is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered dental care and building lasting relationships with his patients and their families.
Dr. Zohouri earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Ferdowsi University in Iran. Early in his career, he established his own dental practice while also contributing to dental education through teaching and clinical practice in Tabriz. His commitment to helping others also led him to volunteer his dental skills in underserved communities.
After moving to Canada, Dr. Zohouri successfully completed the requirements to practice dentistry in Ontario. Since 1996, he has provided dental care to patients in Richmond Hill and the Greater Toronto area, caring for individuals and families across generations.
Community service has remained an important part of his professional life. For more than 20 years, Dr. Zohouri volunteered as a dentist with Evergreen Health Centre, part of Yonge Street Mission in Toronto, helping provide care to youth and individuals in need.
Dr. Zohouri is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association.
In 2023, Dr. Zohouri and his wife moved to Ottawa to be closer to their family. Outside the dental office, he enjoys supporting community initiatives, working on hands-on projects, and studying history.
Meet Tatiana
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Tatiana began her dental career in 2018 after completing her Level II Dental Assistant Diploma. She joined the Silver 7 Dental team in February 2020 as a Certified Dental Assistant, where she developed her passion for dentistry and providing compassionate patient care.
Committed to continuing her professional growth, Tatiana furthered her education by completing the Dental Hygiene Program at the Canadian National Institute of Health (CNIH) in Ottawa. She now provides gentle, thorough, and personalized hygiene care, helping patients maintain optimal oral health through preventive dental care.
Tatiana is dedicated to building strong relationships with her patients and creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels cared for and valued. Outside of dentistry, Tatiana enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, swimming, and practicing yoga.
Meet Stephanie
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Stephanie is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Silver 7 Dental in Kanata. She graduated with honors from the Canadian National Institute of Health in Ottawa in August 2025 and joined our team in November 2025.
Known for her kind, friendly, and compassionate approach, Stephanie is dedicated to creating a comfortable and positive dental hygiene experience for every patient. She believes that effective dental care begins with trust, communication, and understanding each patient’s individual needs. Stephanie enjoys taking the time to educate her patients about their oral health and preventive dental care, helping them develop healthy habits and maintain a confident smile for life. Her gentle approach and attention to detail help patients feel relaxed and supported during their hygiene visits. Outside of the clinic, Stephanie enjoys staying active through yoga, hiking, and camping. Her positive energy and caring personality reflect the same values she brings to patient care every day.
