Child & Adolescent SQ.jpg

Dentistry for Children & Adolescent

At Silver 7 Dental, we believe a life-long relationship with the dentist should begin with a pleasant, enjoyable experience that builds both a child’s trust and positive feelings about dentist visits and oral care.

It is with great pleasure that we warmly welcome all children, from the youngest to the oldest, for their dental care. After working for several years in a pediatric dentistry clinic, we have developed a remarkable ease in the approach and dental treatment in children.

We apply the well-known technique known as Tell-Show-Do to all our children and parents are welcome to accompany the child during the appointment.

The first visit to the dentist can be done within six months after the eruption of the first teeth of the child. It is strongly recommended that you do not go beyond the age of two for this first visit. Do not hesitate to bring your child to the dentist, regardless of age, if you suspect a problem

.
At the very first visit, the child will have a thorough examination of the condition of their teeth, as well as overall oral growth. We can give you advice on appropriate preventive care, such as:

. teeth cleaning
.fluoride applications, to strengthen enamel and help re-mineralize
.the application of sealants that protect the teeth against caries.

During follow-up examinations, the dentist will check the evolution of jaw growth and the position of the teeth and tongue during swallowing.

Tooth Colored Filling SQ.jpg

Tooth Colored Filling

If you could have fillings that matched the natural color of your teeth so well that nobody could tell the difference, would you choose them over metal?

We thought so! Both scientific studies and clinical experience have shown that tooth-colored restorations (fillings) are safe, reliable and long-lasting. Plus, they look great.

Metal fillings vs tooth-colored fillings. Not only do tooth-colored fillings offer an aesthetic alternative to “silver” (dental amalgam) fillings that's hard to match — they may also allow for a more conservative treatment method that preserves more of the tooth's structure. When you put these advantages together, it's no wonder more patients are asking for tooth-colored fillings.

Tooth-colored fillings are made of a blend, or “composite,” of plastic resins and silica fillers. These substances mimic many of the qualities of natural tooth structure, such as wear-resistance and translucency. Dental composites also help strengthen teeth.

Based on looks alone, it's easy to see why you'd want a tooth-colored restoration in the front of your mouth. But to understand some of the other advantages composite resins offer — even for back teeth — let's look a little closer at the tooth restoration process.

The best way to decide about the type and suitability of the tooth-colored filling is to consult with a dentist. It is always recommended that we make the appropriate choice by discovering the proper options and procedure with the help of dentist.

At Silver 7 Dental ,we are committed to offering highest standard services to improve the condition and profile of your dental health. We pride to offering our unmatched tooth-colored compost restoration procedure that utilize highly  standardized, modern and cutting -edge resin material. We able to treat several issues with this treatment, including wearing, decay ,caries, dental chip and many other dental problems. In this case of emergency corrective procedure, this treatment turns out to be the most effective cosmetic dentistry options.

Dental Implant SQ.jpg

Dental Implant

The loss of a tooth can lead to significant problems, such as chewing, occlusion, jointing and digestion problems. Possible solutions to replace one or more teeth are: the implant or the fixed or removable dental prosthesis.

The dental implant is often the best way to replace one or more teeth. It is an artificial root that is inserted firmly into the bone. On this root, a ceramic crown is placed and imitates a natural tooth.

Implant placement is usually done under local anesthesia and the procedure itself is painless. The implant is followed by a healing period of a few days. Following this healing period, we allow the implant to solidify in the bone for a few months before placing the final crown.

The implant allows to find up to 96% of the chewing function, as well as preserve the support bone of the tooth by keeping it stimulated. Unlike other tooth replacement methods, the implant does not affect neighboring teeth and gives the feeling of having a real tooth.

If you are facing any such problem, get your Silver 7 Dental bright smile back with our dental implant services! We offer the most affordable rate in Kanata for dental implant. Moreover you could choose from a variety of financing plans so that you can stay under budget and fit it easier to have dental implant when it becomes necessary. With our strong policy and patient support strategy,we make every step easy for you by accepting payment plan, providing financing and ensuring affordable dental care.

Tooth Extraction.jpg

Tooth Extraction

You can get the best and most affordable tooth extraction services at Silver 7 Dental. We make sure the process remain as painless as possible so that our patient do not avoid tooth extraction when it becomes necessary.

Reason for tooth extraction include but are not limited to severe infection or decay, heavy bone loss, impacted wisdom teeth or damage from an accident. The removal of a tooth in the mouth is an irreversible treatment, hence the importance of making an adequate diagnosis and exhausting all possible treatment alternatives before resorting to extraction.

A prognosis ranging from poor to poorer can be attributed to a non-restorable tooth (which cannot be treated or repaired) or to a tooth whose surrounding bone loss is too advanced (causing tooth mobility or infection). The extraction is done under local anesthesia to ensure the comfort of the patient.

The edentulous space that follows can easily be restored by means of various treatments including a bridge, a removable prosthesis or the installation of an implant.

Completely invisible
Invisalign aligners cannot be seen while in use! Friends, family members and co-workers may not even know you are using keys, unless, of course, you tell them!

Comfortable to wear
The aligners are made of a special plastic that has smooth, rounded edges so that it does not irritate the mouth and tissues just like traditional appliances can often.

Customized to your Needs
Your Invisalign aligners are customized to fit your mouth. We use advanced 3D computer imaging technology to replicate an accurate impression of the mouth and teeth, then customizes each aligner so it fits the mouth, and eventually moves the tooth in the correct position.

Detachable
Unlike traditional metal appliances, you can remove the aligners for eating, drinking, brushing teeth, dental floss and for special occasions. No need to change your lifestyle with Invisalign!

You will start to notice a significant difference even before your treatment has been completed! Most treatments are completed within a year; however, this may vary from patient to patient.

Why consider Invisalign?

People all over the world are beginning to experience the benefits of treatment with Invisalign. Here's why people like you are choosing Invisalign over traditional appliances:

With Invisalign, you can have a straighter, healthier smile without all the cables and brackets of the remarkable traditional devices.

Invisalign aligners are removable making it easy for you to enjoy the foods you love without worrying about breaking or bending your brackets and cables. You can also remove the Invisalign aligners to brush your teeth regularly.

You do not need to change anything about your current lifestyle! With Invisalign you can continue to participate in day-to-day activities without changing anything. Invisalign is ideal for professionals, athletes, girlfriends, and parents.

How does Invisalign Work?

When you start your treatment Invisalign will receive several sets of custom fit aligners. Each series of aligners is used for only two weeks. After two weeks you can change your aligners with the next game and continue to straighten your teeth. Over time you will notice the changes in the alignment of the teeth and in a few months, we will have a straight, healthier smile!

Root Canal Therapy
Root Canal Therapy SQ.jpg

Root Canal Therapy

Technically known as "endodontic treatment", this process preserves the natural teeth that would otherwise have to be extracted.

When a tooth has a major trauma, deep decay, or extensive restoration, bacteria can travel to the dental pulp, the soft tissue that encloses the nerves and blood vessels in the center of the tooth. In this case, this infected or irritated tissue should be removed. Then, the created space is cleaned and disinfected to finally be filled with "gutta-percha", a biocompatible material resembling rubber. Once the root canal treatment is complete, either a conventional restoration or a crown will be required. The type of final restoration recommended will depend on the strength of the treated tooth. It is important to treat the tooth to prevent the infection from spreading to the surrounding tissues and to prevent possible pain, abscess or more complex procedures.

At Silver 7 Dental, we can remedy the problem & restore the damaged tooth, while ensuring that you are as comfortable as possible during the entire procedure. Nowadays, thanks to modern dental advances & technology, root canals are relatively pain-free. We offer you a very comprehensive and affordable root canal payment plan so that you do not delay getting a root canal therapy.

Crown & Bridge
Crown and Bridge SQ.jpg

Crown & Bridge

A crown is a replica of a tooth, usually porcelain, used to solidify a tooth that has a major restoration, that has had a root canal or in case of dental fracture.

Sometimes, when the tooth is badly damaged and there is little structure to retain for the crown in place, it may be necessary to put a pivot in the root of the tooth. The pivot will serve as anchor for the crown. This technique, however, requires prior channel processing.

When the tooth requires a crown, the dentist must first prepare the tooth before it can be installed. Depending on the situation, it can be done directly at the clinic thanks to an optical impression with a conventional impression that will be sent to an external laboratory where the crown will be made (2 visits). Once the crown is in hand, the dentist can proceed to the mouth using a suitable cement. The crown thus makes it possible to restore the function and the aesthetics of a weakened tooth while largely increasing its longevity.

The fixed bridge is, in turn, a treatment option to replace one or more missing teeth. For a single missing tooth, it consists of an artificial tooth that joins a crown at each end on the natural teeth that support the prosthesis. This treatment is especially recommended when the teeth close to the missing tooth are weakened and benefit from a crown by the same. The fixed bridge then makes it possible to restore the masticatory function as well as the aesthetics while preventing the potential problems that can be caused by a missing tooth.

We also offer crown and implant bridge services for patients who already have implants in the mouth.

At Silver7 Dental,we ensure your confidence and understanding of our recommendation and the results.Dental bridge stands out among other conventional dental procedures for being firm enough to stay in its place and providing greater chewing surface. With our strong policy and patient support strategy ,we make every step easy for you by accepting payment plan, providing financing and ensuring affordable dental care.

Denture.jpg

Dentures

when there are one or more missing teeth, our patients have several options to replace them. One of the best known is the removable prosthesis.

REMOVABLE PARTIAL DENTURE

The partial denture serves to replace one or more missing teeth. It is made to measure, from the impression. It consists of a metal base on which acrylic teeth are placed. In order to help retain the prosthesis, hooks from the metal base will grip the surrounding natural teeth.

COMPLETE PROSTHESIS

Commonly called a denture, the complete prosthesis replaces all the teeth of a jaw. It consists of artificial teeth mounted in acrylic support that covers the residual ridge of the gum and palate( upper maxillary). Its retention stem from the 'sucker principle", the oral mucosa acting as the rubber seal.
